you will need:

a pin
a spade
a piece of string
a map of your local area
a ball of mixed seeds ie: apple, pine, carrot, sycamore, oak

method:

1. tie the pin to an end of the string
2. place the map on the ground
3. close your eyes and swing the pin above the map
4. drop the pin - wherever it lands you should go to immediately
5. once there proceed to dig a small hole with the spade
6. place the ball of mixed seed in the hole and recover
7. repeat
